These poems were all written in brief moments while sitting in my cubicle. The initial premise was that I would write a love poem for my fiance everyday.

Thank you for reading them. The series is pretty uneven, but what else can you expect when writing at work? Four and Nine were so bad I didn’t even post them.

Mission Statement

The Grey Plane is comprised of a group with their hands and heads buried in the worlds of art and writing. Dissatisfied with what is being produced and marketed as creative work, we aim to examine and comment on as well as contribute to this “grey” area. This site will function as a forum where we express our opinions, our dissatisfactions with what’s being allowed to enter the mainstream, as well as our satisfactions with the art and writing that has challenged these lax standards. Through reviews, poetry, creative writing, photography, drawings, paintings, music, and everything else that we draw from the world around us and which sparks something in us, we hope to create an open forum that will encourage others to read what we’ve said and join in the discourse, to contribute to the ‘grey plane’ that is our deconstructed world.
